Enrichment for our ordinary brethren as well as the gifted. Designed to be taught as a non-graded sequence of activity spread over several weeks (excellent Friday activity). All 4th through 9thgraders can measure heading-angles and distances for the navigator problems of Levels 1 and 2. About 75% of them can do all of Level 3, where they are given departure times and speeds, and must decide which of two vessels to dispatch on a rescue mission. Some of the locus problems in levels 4 and 5 can be done by all, and some of them will challenge your brightest and boldest.
